If you can still feel it in the drivers door then have a look inside the door and see if the mechanism is all working freely. I have removed the drivers side seat in order to remove some of the door trim to get at the locking mechanism. Kinda figured that as the d40 only gets 1 door lock with akey hole and its not the drivers door lol has it got genuine remote central locking. I can hear the actuator operating in the door lock assembly but not actually locking the door.
